Exploring Chinese culture and lifestyle
Renowned as the financial and economic hub of China, Shanghai, the bustling metropolis in the Yangtze River Dalta, is a witness to the fascinating economical achievements of China. With a close look at Shanghai, we are on our way to explore minature version of China.
Walking along the Bund, we are fascinated by the breathtaking night scene and indulge ourselves in the mirage created by countless skyscrapers with neon. One of the German students exclaims, “It’s hard to believe this is in China!”
Shanghai is a exbition of how modern and tradition can interact, intergrate and coexist with each other. Yu Garden, located in the center of the Old City next to the Chenghuang Temple, is considered as one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens. Calligraphy works, Chinese landscape painting, Beijing Opera facial masks, silk clothing and other traditional Chinese arts can be found in this magalopolis. For the German Students, it is an unforgettable journey to “touch” the culture in reality with the introductions from the Chinese.
