With the increasing globalization of world economy and international merger & acquisition, the army of International Joint-Venture (IJV) is augmenting rapidly in recent years. The success of such IJV depends largely on the top management's proficient handling of  efficient communication, interaction and collaboration as a high-performance team. How does the top management identify themselves as well as their competence and sensitivity in dealing with cross-cultural differences weighs heavily.

Recent studies and best practice examples from Asia (China) on the challenges and potentials in building high-performance team in an IJV will be presented. Subsequently the culture-specific intercultural sensitivity will be discussed with examples from Germany, China and Indonesia. All the above-mentioned is part of the Keynote speech that will be delivered by Dr. Hora Tjitra at the European largest HR Conference and Exhibition Zukunft Personal in Cologne, Germany, on October 14th 2010.
