International Employability project is an applied research, learning program, and collaboration project between RheinAhr Campus of FH Koblenz (Germany) and the School of Psychology, Zhejiang University (China), under the co-lead of Dr. Tjitra. The project is funded by the BMBF (German Federal Ministry for Education and Research) as part of the German-Chinese Scientific Year Program. 

On the opening ceremony of the project “International Employability”, Dr. Thomas Prinz from the German General Consulate (Shanghai) opened the program by addressing a keynote on the the German-Chinese Collaboration in Economic, Culture, Education and Research. 

 

In this project, twenty students from both sides, Germany and China, attended the same courses and guest lectures focusing on cross-cultural awareness, communication across cultures, working in international environment, Intercultural competencies in German-Chinese cooperation, and etc. They visited a number of companies to learn from the real-world as well as a number of cultural programs to explore the Chinese/German culture and lifestyle. In addition, there was intensively cooperation between them on their project work under different sub topics of International Employability.
